Making the cut

Mm... abs

One of my fave people, Steve, wrote this nifty little bit on circumcision. I didn’t realize that there was such a difference in percentages between the UK & the US as far as how many men are circumcised. It starts with a hilarious men’s room account. Do read it.
My two cents? Less is more. Like any meat, it’s all about the cut for me. This is more luck than selection, but I’ve only ever been with one uncut guy. What can I say?
Besides, oral’s a little more enjoyable as a giver when the lid’s gone.

Steff, I’m honoured to leave my first comment in your new place, and even more honoured that one of the inaugral postings is a follow-up to one of mine! πŸ™‚

The differences in statistics is an interesting one. I’ve done a bit more research on this, and it seems to be down to the British National Health Service de-listing routine circumcision as one of the procedures covered by it, back in the 50’s.

Before this happened it was routinely done just like in the US, but in post war, poverty-stricken Britain it became seen as an unnecessary expense and to save their pennies parents decided not to have it performed.

    So there you go!

(I love the name of your blog, btw)

Hee hee. Thanks. The name’s really growing on me. I’d wanted The Cunning Linguist, but hey.

I still think you’re one of the better writers I read, Steve. You’ve just been kind of bored with it, I think, until the recent events seemed to wake something up in you. (Understandably.)

I’d love to see you writing more about sex. I bet you’ve got some interesting things to say about it. πŸ™‚

Oh, and the stats? that’s a remarkably interesting development, that it probably stems from post-war restraints? Awesome info!

Nice digging! You should write an article on that, man, and investigate the story a bit more. I suspect you could sell something like that. What an interesting history to circumcision. Seriously, very interesting.

Thanks for the compliment, Steff! It means a lot. Especially since inspiration has been a bit thin on the ground recently.

I’d love to get some more creative writing under my belt, but everytime I’ve tried recently it’s fallen a bit flat. In fact, since starting the blog the poem “Billy” is the only creative item I’ve managed.

Might do a follow-up posting on the cut thing as it’s probably worth exploring more. The original post has certainly sparked a lot of debate, that’s for sure!

As for writing more about sex, yeah there are some stories I could tell. I have a similar problem to you though – some friends read my blog, and if I went a bit racy I’d probably not want them to read it. But it’s hard enough keeping Everything Changed going at the moment without bringing another blog into the equation!

So yeah, I’ll mull that one over πŸ™‚

BTW, where do we stand on linking to your new pad? Do you want to keep the URL “by invitation only”?

I’ve responded to your first comment in email. For your eyes only sorta thing.

As for linking to me, PLEASE DO. πŸ™‚

I dig my sword sans sheath. Obviously, I’m biased because mine has been attached to me all my life. I have actually heard from numerous sources that say the hood adds the illusion of greater size. I don’t know. When I’m flacid I look like I should be chillin’ with Webster. Thank God they grow! lol

    Peace

i didn’t really spend a lot of time inspecting the length/girth when the opportunity to do so had arisen.

    ahem. so to speak.

he was a fine man, either way. and was nicely endowed.
